Motofix makes £2.5m investment to open its first Prestige Paint and Body site in the UK

Vehicle manufacturer-approved facility gives prestige marque-driving customers a unique ‘back to brand’ experience

Leading independent accident repair and bodyshop group, Motofix, has invested £2.5m in the opening of its first, dedicated Prestige Paint and Body site that will deliver a refreshing ‘back to brand’ experience for its customers.

The state-of-the-art facility, which is located on a site formerly occupied by Mitsubishi UK’s pre-delivery inspection centre in Cirencester, will cater for Motofix’s prestige marque-driving customers in the Cotswolds and Southwest, and meets a number of vehicle manufacturers’ exacting repair standards by using genuine parts and approved methods.

The site has already earned approvals from BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and VW Group brands. An additional Jaguar Land Rover approval is pending.

Motofix has spent £2.5m bringing its new Prestige facility to market, investing in superior processes, the latest equipment and tools, and world-class, brand- and model-specific technician training.

Motofix Chairman, Richard Tutt, believes the company has created a customer proposition that is unique and will give owners of prestige vehicles added choice when faced with a post-accident repair.

He said: “We’ve always repaired prestige vehicles at other centres in our network, but opening our first, dedicated Prestige Paint and Body site marks an important milestone as we develop our service offer and create a repair proposition that appeals to discerning motorists.

“Cirencester is our flagship centre of excellence and offers customers a ‘back to brand’ experience. We operate as an extension of the brand – providing a seamless transition from the dealer to us as Prestige. That’s something that appeals on many levels.

“The fact we’ve already earned approvals from three of the world’s premium brands is testament to the quality of what we’ve created and the customer experience we’re providing.”

The Prestige Paint and Body experience is built on personal service and contact, as well as the guaranteed delivery of a vehicle manufacturer-quality repair every time. Managing and personally overseeing the customer experience in Cirencester is Centre Manager, Kelly Watson.

She said: “Motofix Prestige offers an elevated customer journey. Our hand-picked team strive for excellence in every aspect of the customer experience. From the first welcome phone call to when keys are handed back, every detail is looked after by our first-class team. We sincerely believe customers should choose who repairs their vehicle – it’s all about the journey.”
